With over twenty years of title insurance experience, Glen Cove native Stephen Ferngren has been intimately involved in all aspects of residential and commercial real estate transactions.  Stephen began his professional career as an assistant golf pro and quickly discovered that golf and insurance go hand-in-hand.  Stephen started off as a title insurance salesman where he learned and participated in every aspect of title insurance.  From municipal searches to underwriting, Stephen helped shepherd transactions to closing.  His personal touch earned him a stellar reputation as a reliable and committed title insurance agent. 

In addition to his voluminous residential practice, Stephen participated in numerous high-profile commercial projects.  As Vice President at Title Management, he participated in the recreation of the Lincoln Tunnel’s file, which had been lost on September 11th.  The project included reconstructing the condemnation of thirty city blocks.

Stephen’s vast experience enables him to handle complex transactions and bring multiple underwriters to large transactions.

Stephen attended St. John’s University on a golf scholarship.  Stephen is also a licensed process server, specializing in landlord/tenant matters.  He served on the Board of the North Shore Sheltering Program, which ran the men’s shelter in Glen Cove.
